We designed with one goal in mind, to enable our users to meet new people and actually get to know them, and create meaningful connections through socail features they already know and love.

The biggest problem that traditional dating platforms have is you don't really get to know the person just by looking at a profile for a second. Moreover, there's a rise of new trend in Gen Z dating, which is slow dating. Slow dating is what it sounds like, people taking the time to get to know each other and build a connection before deciding if they want to pursue the relationship or meet in person.

Unlike traditional dating apps (match, chat online, then go for date…), streax allows the users to view and like someone/being liked, view each other’s status/ stories, reply to stories, chat and actually taking the time to get to know other, and establish a familiarity and connection over time. Stories are also great icebreakers and conversation starters. According to our research, streax is the only platform that is using stories in an effective way allowing users to actually getting to know someone over time. This positions streax perfectly in the slow dating culture.
